Celebrities are like that, they don’t go out in public with flat noses, crooked teeth and wrinkled faces. They want to look good and beautiful, possibly too much, like a goddess.

People’s fascination towards imperfection may have steamed the interest of plastic surgery, like celebrity plastic surgery, people have a strong interest in seeing the before and after. They want to know that someone who looks so stunning now didn’t always look that way.

That explains the popularity of plastic surgery depicting the before and after of the appearances of the stars.

They probably want to be seen as just better, updated or new version of themselves. But this isn’t so easy for them since there are pictures out there documenting all of the changes. Not to mention high school pictures, baby pictures that don’t look cute. Most of the time we don’t have good genes, so we always end up wanting change.

I saw the latest episode of “Glee’s Season 2 and I was surprised how stunning she looks at 62, having been born September 26, 1948.

I look at my Mom who is almost the same age as she was and I was dumfounded, how my mother looked her age than Olivia’s. It seems like she had her face botox or has gone under the knife to be a fabulous as she is today.

Admit it or not, we grow stout, old and grey but plastic surgeries if not stop at least delay its process. Though she may not admit it, but it seems Olivia Newton-John like any other actors would have wanted to look good on the screen and plastic surgery is not an option but rather a necessity.
